Welcome to AOK Maine. We are a new non-profit with the goal of bringing more kindness into our lives here in Maine. We want to make kindness easier, make kindness a habit, make kindness a movement!
Kindness is about more than just being nice - kindness is about action. Kindness is about how we treat others and how we treat ourselves. Sometimes kindness is the most courageous thing we can do.

Common Ground Country Fair 2025
Our time at the Common Ground Country Fair was a great success! We gave out hundreds of copies of the Wheel of Kindness Handout, which one person told us was the best handout he got at the fair! Our Kindness Scavenger Hunt handouts were a hit, and next year we will be providing those to the many school groups who bring their students to the fair. Our partner Weaving a Life created a beautiful Community-Woven Kindness Tapestry on the Earth Loom.
